05

Tiburcio and Librada Montoya had eight children. Their daughter Rita married Macedonio; another daughter, Juliana, married teacher Harry Warren, whose documentation helped preserve the record.

Husband of Concepción Carrasco and father of nine children. Descendants have preserved an extensive family history through sacramental records, photographs, and oral history.

07

Ambrosio Hernández

Age 21

Husband of Eulalia Gonzalez and son-in-law of Eutimio Gonzalez. Their son Victor was still an infant when Ambrosio was killed.

08

09

The survivors

Juan and Narciso Flores survived, as did their sister Benita and her husband Rosendo Mesa, who was away obtaining supplies. Juan spoke publicly only late in life, after family research uncovered documents naming Longino Flores among the victims. His testimony helped descendants recover a history that had been hidden by trauma and fear.
